Join Episode Six today. \nWhat we’re hiring for: \nWe are a growing fintech organization looking to add a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test!\nWhat you’ll be responsible for in this role: \nLeading testing effort in the payments, card issuing and revolving credit domain. \nReviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. \nCreating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases in JUnit 5.\nPreparing quality assurance policies and procedures \nDesigning, developing, and executing automation code. \nIdentifying, recording, documenting, and tracking bugs. \nPerforming thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. \nDeveloping and applying testing processes for new and existing products. \nTracking quality assurance metrics and statistics. \nStaying up to date with new testing tools, diverse types of test strategies, and assuring ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements. \nCommunicating technical information, both written and verbal, effectively to other team members and customers of varying technical experience. \nWorking collaboratively with other team members, teams and customers on projects, and other similar or related tasks.\nThis is not an exhaustive list, and your duties and responsibilities will also include any incidental and administrative duties as are reasonably required or reasonably desirable for the performance of the duties and responsibilities set out above. \nWhat experiences and skills are necessary to be successful in this role: \n Proficiency in the Java programming language and JUnit test framework. \nProven domain knowledge and experience in testing within the payments and card industry. Proficiency in various testing methodologies, tools, and techniques specific to this domain. \nFamiliarity with regulatory standards and industry-specific protocols. \nAbility and willingness to delve into unfamiliar domains, rapidly acquiring necessary expertise for effective testing. \nPrevious experience in backend Java enterprise software system testing. \nPrevious experience in automating API (REST) testing. \nExperience working with CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins or other CI/CD platforms. \nProven record with large complex projects and SDLC processes. \nExperience working with RDBMS and NoSQL Databases such as MySQL and Cassandra.
