The support needed for quality activities to drive excellence include document control, driving continuous improvement, RCA, FSR, first article inspection, CPS certification and training, and evaluating suppliers.\nQualifications & Experience\nProfessional Experience: Strong background in the quality field and/or production lines with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience in the manufacturing industry \nEducation: Associate’s degree/Technical degree/Certification or HS diploma and professional experience combined\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in calibration or metrology\nTechnical Skills\nComputer Skills: Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Microsoft FrontPage.\nBlueprints & Metrology:Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and technical documents.\nAbility to read mechanical measuring devices (e.g., micrometers, calipers, tape measures).\n\nElectrical Competency: Basic electrical knowledge and ability to use electrical meters (volt, ohm, amp).\nProduct Knowledge: Specialized technical training in metrology/calibration and familiarity with KW products and processes\nKey Responsibilities\nRecord and analyze nonconformities using specific tools and databases. Investigate manufacturing-coded FSRs (Field Service Reports) for corrective actions\nDefine containment actions to minimize issues related to customer and supplier complaints\nDetermine root causes of problems to propose robust corrective actions\nConduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and sorting/reworking of parts and components when required\nPerform quality audits and supplier visits/evaluations\nCollect data for KPI reports and suggest continuous improvement initiatives\nExecute improvement projects as assigned\nMaintain the document control system, including creating MPIs (Manufacturing Process Instructions)\nProvide CPS training and certification\nProvide support and maintain daily contact with internal and external customers\nCoordinate with and support the daily activities of the Quality Supervisor/Manager\nPerform other duties as assigned while knowing and observing all safety regulations and precautions\nDon’t let a few unmet requirements chill your enthusiasm!
