The visual coordinator will work closely with the store manager to maximize results through visual merchandising. He will make visually inspiring floor plans by interpreting company guidelines and effectively translating them into the store.\nTHE DETAILS:\nYou’ll be joining our St. Laurent team, at 4428 St-Laurent Boulevard, in a full-time capacity\nYou’ll carry out seasonal plans to create stores that are visually inspiring\nYou’ll follow and execute visual directives from Head Office\nYou’ll drive sales through efficient merchandising\nYou’ll verify and understand floor model transfers and stock adjustments\nYou’ll be responsible for daily checking of RIR, Sharepoint, WPM and emails for updates\nYou’ll work with the store manager and regional visual coordinator to adjust the floor plan to drive sales based on data and good reasoning\nYou’ll follow current corporate guidelines and trends in visual merchandising\nYou’ll replenish stock as needed\nYou’ll coordinate staff support when needed through the store manager\nYou’ll help with store renovations and special projects as needed\nYou’ll collaborate with the assistant manager to supervise the maintenance of the sales floor\nYou’ll assist with all aspects of pricing showroom (regular tagging, sales, price reductions, etc)\nYou’ll set up promotional signage on time\nYou’ll communicate necessary ideas / adjustments to regional visual coordinator\nWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:\nCertificate or diploma in a field related to design or at least 2 years of merchandising experience\nProficiency in operating systems including sales terminal and Microsoft Office\nKnowledge of AutoCAD is an asset\nAbility to read and understand floor plans\nDetail-oriented approach to all aspects of the job\nExcellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask\nAbility to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders to perform work at elevated heights\nComfortable using tools such as a drill, hammer, level, etc. Electrical / wiring skills are an asset\nAbility to patch walls and paint\nAbility to work individually and in a
