It is hiring across forward-deployed engineering and AI strategy, and this hire will be the first person most future candidates meet.\nThe role: You will own hiring for every open role, from agreeing what great looks like with the hiring manager to putting strong candidates in front of them. Roughly 90% of the job is recruiting and 10% is people operations. You’ll report to the Head of Strategy and Operations.\nYou will:\nFill open roles on plan, with screens the hiring team trusts.\nBuild pipeline through outbound outreach, not inbound alone.\nAgree a scorecard with each hiring manager and run a structured interview loop for every role.\nKeep every candidate updated within two business days of each stage, and make sure no one drops the ball.\nRun offers, onboarding and immigration basics reliably, without founder follow-up.\nRequirements\nYour profile:\n4+ years of full-cycle recruiting, at least two of them in-house. \nExperience hiring into technical, customer-facing roles such as forward-deployed, solutions or sales engineering.\nStrong at finding people who aren’t actively looking, and able to say where great candidates for a role come from.\nAble to tell a strong forward-deployed engineer from a backend engineer, and a strategist from a consultant.\nComfortable with early-stage work: no playbook, shifting priorities, and happy with the unglamorous tasks.\nAble to triage high volumes of applicants using AI tools without good people slipping through.\nNice to have:\nSeries B or earlier experience, ideally as the first or only recruiter.\nExperience hiring FDEs, AI strategists or deployment consultants.\nExperience managing agency or marketplace recruiters.\nFamiliarity with common immigration processes.\nExperience leading or mentoring other recruiters.\nBenefits\nBenefits and compensation: Salary is $140,000-$190,000 base plus equity, depending on experience
