Through Supported Growth, you'll have opportunities to expand your skills through cross-functional collaboration, development opportunities, and career advancement.\nJoin our Qrew! \nThe Plant Operator I/II/III responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nMaintains a safe operating environment; follows all EQT policies and procedures.\nOptimize processing throughout the facility and maintain proper product specifications.\nResponds to alarms and problems within the plant and makes appropriate corrections.\nSpill Prevention Countermeasures and Control (SPCC) reporting and monitoring environmental compliance.\nPerform general maintenance including changing filters for air, oil etc.\nPerform Lock out/tag out procedures.\nAssist with housekeeping and cleanup routines throughout the plant.\nSafely maintains equipment and supports pipeline operations, including reading/interpreting drawings, supervising equipment, and maintaining operations/technical standards.\nUnderstand and comply with environmental regulations and ability to document and report readings as dictated by permit\nKnowledge of PFD'S, P&ID'S and plot plan.\nParticipate in the Plant PSM program. Understand and follow all 14 elements of PSM.\nSuccessfully completes assignments as directed and within established timeframes. Accurately documents information as defined and utilize a computerized database for work orders, field data collection, and compliance reporting.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequired Experience and Skills:\nAt least 1 year of related work experience in the natural gas industry.\nBasic computer skills including Microsoft Products.\nMust be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and research skills.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to identify work priorities and function with very little supervision at times.\nMust be a team player, self-motivated with high level of energy and initiative.\nHigh school diploma or GED required. \nWilling to work rotating shifts (12 hours) and overtime.\nPreferred Experience and Skills:\nAt least 1-3 years of related work experience in the natural gas industry.\nKnowledge of all facets of natural gas processing and pipeline operations and maintenance.\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\nPhysical Demands:\nThis position requires sitting, lifting and filing throughout most of the day. There will also be outside office assignments that can involve walking around the plant facility. Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts.\nWorking Environment:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is often exposed to outside weather conditions, which could range from extreme cold to hot, humid conditions. Walking on uneven terrain is often required during normal work duties. May require climbing of ladders. High noise areas may be encountered.
