If innovation and powering the future sounds exciting to you, we encourage you to apply!\nThe Production Services Intern will join EQT's Production Services team for a summer internship, gaining hands-on exposure to how the team manages and works with operational data. Working alongside the team's engineers, the intern will build foundational data engineering skills - SQL, Python, data engineering, and analytical concepts - while contributing to real, scoped project work that supports Production's day-to-day operations.\nThe Intern's responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nAssist with SQL queries and Python scripts that support Production Services data workflows.\nSupport the team's engineers on scoped tasks across the data lifecycle: data pulls, validation, establishing source of record, cleanup, and basic documentation.\nLearn and follow the team's coding, documentation, and data quality standards.\nAssist with light code review and testing on assigned tasks, under supervision.\nHelp document scripts, workflows, and data definitions for team reference.\nGain exposure to Databricks SQL and notebooks.\nSupport ad-hoc departmental data requests.\nUnder the guidance of a mentor, manage projects that include elements of process design, data structure design, and analytics\nBuild relationships across Production Department and display a high level of customer service.\nComplete a defined summer project and present a summary of the work and what was learned at the end of the internship.\nAdhere to the department's Salesforce business processes and daily use\nRequired Experience and Skills:\nCurrently pursuing an accredited Bachelor's Degree in Engineering\nSome coursework or self-directed experience in at least one programming language.\nBasic exposure to SQL or relational databases (coursework, bootcamp, or personal projects are fine).\nStrong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new tools.\nComfortable working in a team environment, asking questions, and taking feedback.\nNo professional work experience required.\nPreferred Experience and Skills:\nFamiliarity with basic SQL syntax (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, GROUP BY).\nInterest in the oil & gas or energy industry.\nExposure to cloud-based data platforms (Databricks, Azure, or similar).\nCoursework in databases, data structures, or statistics.\nSelected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience
