# Quantum Error Correction Lead / Senior Quantum Error Correction Scientist

We are looking for a dedicated Quantum Error Correction (QEC) Architect to join the Equal1 team. This pivotal role will drive the research and development of error correction codes and logical circuit schemes tailored to silicon spin qubits. As a Senior QEC Scientist / QEC Lead, you will lead the technical effort to design, evaluate, and evolve QEC architectures, translating theory into practical, hardware-aware approaches that support Equal1’s roadmap to scalable fault-tolerant quantum computing. Main Duties and Responsibilities Lead the efforts to implement quantum error correction protocols for Equal1 silicon spin QSoC technology platform. Designing and modifying error correcting codes, logical qubit schemes, and decoding algorithms suitable for large scale arrays of silicon spin qubits Specify the minimal requirements for our physical qubits to go beyond breakeven for various codes, and guide future qubit topology to facilitate error correction schemes. Conduct research and development to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Equal1’s fault-tolerant quantum computing systems, and stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in the field.
