# Software Stack / Framework Engineer

Equal1 is building the world’s first practical, fully integrated quantum computer. In Timișoara, we are expanding our engineering team with talented young engineers who want to shape the software foundations of quantum computing. We are looking for a Software Stack / Framework Engineer who is passionate about bridging classical computing with next-generation quantum architectures in hybrid architectures. You will help design, implement, and optimize the software layers that make the Equal1 QPU accessible, fast, and scalable, from low-level gate libraries to high-level developer frameworks. Main Duties and Responsibilities Develop and maintain the software stack that interfaces with Equal1’s silicon-based QPU. Build tools, APIs, and frameworks that enable researchers and customers to run quantum programs efficiently. Collaborate with hardware, algorithms, and control teams to design hybrid classical-quantum workflows. Optimize middleware, compilers, and library components for performance and reliability.
