In this role, you will provide Level 2 production support, monitor application health, investigate incidents, troubleshoot data and integration issues, and help ensure reliable operations across AWS, Amazon EKS, .NET applications, and Microsoft SQL Server environments.\nYou will work closely with Engineering, Cloud Reliability, Database Administration, Product Management, and external data providers to resolve issues, improve service reliability, and support ongoing platform growth.\nLocation\nThis role will be based in our Toronto, Canada office, located at 155 University Avenue. This role offers in person collaboration and flexibility to work from home.\nWhat Part You Will Play in Our Growth\nKey Responsibilities\nApplication Support & Monitoring\nProvide Level 2 production support for business-critical applications.\nMonitor application availability, performance, and operational health.\nInvestigate and resolve production incidents and service disruptions.\nParticipate in root cause analysis and continuous service improvement initiatives.\nMaintain operational documentation and support procedures.\nDatabase & Data Operations\nSupport Microsoft SQL Server databases and scheduled processing jobs.\nTroubleshoot data discrepancies and perform data reconciliation activities.\nWrite and analyze SQL queries to investigate and resolve production issues.\nSupport data ingestion and validation processes.\nCloud & Platform Support\nSupport applications running in AWS and Amazon EKS environments.\nMonitor application deployments, container health, and platform performance.\nPartner with Infrastructure and Cloud Reliability teams to resolve platform-related issues.\nAPI & Integration Support\nMonitor APIs, third-party integrations, and external data feeds.\nTroubleshoot integration, synchronization, and data-quality issues.\nCollaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve service issues.\nIncident & Release Management\nParticipate in incident response and major incident resolution activities.\nSupport production deployments, releases, and post-release validation.\nParticipate in on-call support rotations as required.\nRequired Knowledge and Skills\nEducation\nBachelor's degree with major course work in computer science, MIS, or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.\nExperience\n4+ years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, Technical Operations, or a related role.\nExperience supporting business-critical applications in a production environment.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nExperience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.\nWorking knowledge of .NET applications and web-based technologies.\nFamiliarity with AWS cloud environments and containerized applications.\nExperience using monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog.\nKnowledge of REST APIs and application integrations.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, production support environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with any AI Platform and past support/troubleshooting experience\nExperience supporting data-intensive or SaaS platforms.\nFamiliarity with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing systems.\nExperience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.\nAWS, Microsoft, Kubernetes, or ITIL certifications are considered an asset.\nCompensation\nOur salary range for this role is $68,000 - $90,000 CAD and is commensurate with experience, skills and location.\nWhy You Will Love Working Here\nEQ is recognized as a Top Employer in US, UK and India!
