The successful candidate will be responsible for packaging, testing, and deploying enterprise applications across a large-scale Windows environment, while maintaining operating system deployment solutions using Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune.\nThis role requires expertise across the modern endpoint management stack, including Application Packaging, Windows Build Engineering, Autopilot, Intune, PowerShell automation, and endpoint security. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering reliable, secure, and user-focused endpoint solutions while supporting our transition towards cloud-native device management.\nKey Responsibilities\nApplication Packaging & Deployment\nPackage, test, and deploy enterprise applications using industry-standard packaging and deployment methodologies.\nCreate and maintain deployment packages using PowerShell,PSAppDeployToolkit(PSADT), InstallShield, and Patch My PC.\nDevelop and manage silent installations, MST transforms, response files, custom installation scripts, detection methods, dependencies,supersedence, and deployment requirements.\nPerform application compatibility testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment validation.\nAnalyse deployment feedback and implement improvements to application delivery processes.\nMaintain packaging standards, documentation, and best practices.\nWindows Build Engineering\nSupport and maintain Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) Operating System Deployment task sequences.\nDevelop, support, and optimise Windows 11 enterprise builds and deployment processes.\nMaintain automated BIOS, driver, and firmware update solutions using Dell and HP enterprise tooling.\nDesign, implement, and maintain Windows Autopilot provisioning and deployment processes.\nConfigure and optimise the Windows Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE).\nIntegrate security baselines, compliance requirements, and corporate standards into operating system builds.\nOptimise build performance, provisioning workflows, and deployment success rates.\nSupport modern device provisioning and lifecycle management initiatives.\n\nMicrosoft Intune & Endpoint Management\nSupport the design, implementation, and ongoing management of Microsoft Intune.\nPackage, deploy, and manage applications through Microsoft Intune.\nDevelop, test, and maintain PowerShell automation and remediation scripts.\nConfigure and maintain device compliance, configuration profiles, application deployments, and endpoint security policies.\nAssist with migration initiatives from on-premises management technologies to cloud-native solutions.\nSupport Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, and other Microsoft 365 endpoint management technologies.\nEvaluate and implement emerging technologies that enhance endpoint management capabilities.\nTroubleshoot endpoint-related issues and drive production incidents through to resolution.\nEngineering Excellence\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across endpoint engineering and device management services.\nCreate and maintain high-quality technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.\nSupport knowledge sharing and provide mentoring to junior engineers.\nMaintain current technical certifications and stay updated with emerging Microsoft technologies and industry trends.\nEssential Skills & Experience\nSignificant experience in Application Packaging, Endpoint Engineering, or Modern Workplace Engineering within a large enterprise environment.\n\nStrong hands-on experience packaging applications for Intune and SCCM.\n\nExpert knowledge of Windows application deployment technologies and packaging methodologies.\n\nStrong understanding of:\n\nWin32 applications\n\nMicrosoft Store applications\n\nMSI/MSIX packaging\n\nDetection methods\n\nRequirement rules\n\nSupersedence\n\nExperience supporting Windows Autopilot deployment and provisioning solutions.\n\nStrong knowledge of SCCM Operating System Deployment and Task Sequences.\n\nPowerShell scripting skills for automationandapplication deployment.\n\nExpert knowledge of Windows 11 administration and troubleshooting.\n\nStrong understanding of:\n\nMicrosoft Intune\n\nMicrosoft Entra ID\n\nActive Directory\n\nMicrosoft 365\n\nMicrosoft Defender\n\nAzure services\n\nExperience managing BIOS, firmware, and driver update solutions.\n\nStrong understanding of the Windows Registry and operating system configuration.\n\nExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\n\nUnderstanding of ITIL principles and service management practices.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nDesirable Skills\nMD-102 Endpoint Administrator Associate certification.\n\nAZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate certification.\n\nExperience with Patch My PC or similar packaging technologies.\n\nExperience withJamf, macOS managementor othermobile device management platforms.\n\nExperience with Zscaler.\n\nKnowledge of CIS Benchmarks and security hardening frameworks.\n\nExperience supporting cloud-first and modern workplace transformation
