Our teams are driven by a shared commitment to excellence, collaboration and making a real impact to the lives of our clients and customers.\nRole Summary\nEQ Retirement Solutions are looking for a Procurement Manager within their Procurement function.\nThe main purpose of the role is to deliver savings, value, innovation and compliance across procurement activities, providing strategic sourcing, supplier management and commercial support while partnering closely with business stakeholders.\nCore Duties/Responsibilities\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for the following:\nLeading sourcing and tendering activity to drive commercial, operational and strategic objectives\nDeveloping category strategies and delivering procurement projects end-to-end\nManaging supplier relationships, performance, quality and risk\nSupporting contract negotiations, renewals, variations and ongoing governance\nProviding commercial insight and market intelligence to support decision-making\nEnsuring procurement activity aligns with policy, compliance and regulatory obligations\nPartnering with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver optimal outcomes\nDelivering savings, value and cost-avoidance through strategic procurement initiatives\nManaging supplier onboarding and ensuring controls are met\nProducing tender documentation and managing competitive processes\nMaintaining accurate procurement records, reports and contract register data\nSupporting process improvement across procurement and supplier management\nEnsuring effective communication and collaboration across Procurement and the wider business\nContributing to the delivery of procurement objectives and team development activities\nThe duties and responsibilities outlined above are to be regarded as broad areas of responsibility and do not necessarily detail all tasks which the post holder may be required to perform.\nSkills, Capabilities and Attributes\nThe ideal candidate will have the below skills, capabilities and attributes essential or preferred.
