The jobholder will seek continuous improvement in all activities performed, working under the instruction and closely with the Procurement Operations Manager.\nThe role holder will deliver excellent customer service, truly understanding the business need and any issues raised by internal stakeholders, seeking speedy and effective solutions.\nThe jobholder will ensure they deliver against targets, efficiency measures, values, internal satisfaction levels and agreed timescales. Furthermore, the jobholder will ensure improved utilisation of procurement tools.\nDeveloping strong working relationships with all members of the Procurement Team and being flexible in approach and tasks required for the betterment of the team (and its desired outcomes) is a key aspect of this role.\nRoles and responsibilities\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for the following:\nProviding helpdesk services (via teams, email and systems like ServiceNow) to support front line business with procurement enquiries or problems, resolving issues.\nManaging centralised requisition and purchase order processes(front end P2P services), including providing an order on behalf of service for key stakeholders.\nCreating receipts on Workday to ensure a smooth payment to Supplier invoices\nResponsible for uploading the contracts to the contracts database\nExperience of handling US and EMEA stakeholders\nProducing procurement management information (performance, compliance etc.) to the Procurement Team and the business, via a range of sophisticated dashboards\nManaging the supplier onboarding and due diligence process (issue, follow up and close) in line with policy.\nManaging the invoice related queries with accounts payable team\nManaging the new joiners training, access and prep them to move to Production\nFrequent connect with key stakeholders within team and understand their queries and find a solution\nHandling the escalation process and share the route cause analysis to the Manager\nTrack the SLA/KPI regularly and report it to manager monthly\n Experience, skills and behaviours:\nThe successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviours:\nProactiveness, self-drive, determination, and a positivity\nTeam player, with the capability to lead and motivate peers across the organisation\nA track record of achieving targets and results\n5 to 8 years’ experience in Procurement Operations\nStrong grounding in procurement operations processes and practices Understanding of procurement processes and systems, including P2P, strategic sourcing and supplier relationship and risk management practices\nExperience in supporting the development of process and systems in procurement.\nStrong data and analytical skills, comfortable using fact-based analysis to support business decision making.\nExcellent data and information presentation skills\nIndustry experience, potentially including financial services background. \nCapacity to engage with strategic issues and work alongside stakeholders to develop pragmatic plans of action which are aligned with their business needs.\nWe are committed to equality of opportunity for all staff and applications from individuals are encouraged regardless of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships.
