Focus is on semi-routine tasks within standard operating procedures. Supports the overall team.\nResponsibilities\nFacility/Infrastructure Maintenance\nPerforms semi-routine preventative maintence checks on-site to non-critical, facility components\nPerforms semi-routine repairs, maintenance and installations to non-critical facility components\nMonitors the Builiding Monitoring System (BMS) and responds timely to semi-routine alarms according to standard operating procedures\nAssists more senior staff in higher facility repairs and corrective maintenance measures\nOperates plumbing, fire suppression, and safety systems, under the supervision of more senior technical staff\nNormally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments\nVendor Support\nCoordinates with vendors to ensure maintenance activities are carried out as per Equinix's requirements\nSupports the work order approval process for service providers on routine maintenance work, for tracking: briefing at the start of work, work during the day workday/shift and final review of the work carried out\nEnsures vendor maintenance activities are carried out as per Equinix's standard operating procedures\nSite Administration & Incident Support\nPerforms semi-routine site logs for permits, such as Maintenance Operation Protocol (MOPs) and scripts\nUses acquired job skills in following operating procedures to support on-site administration\nWork Orders & Additional Projects\nCompletes semi-routine work requests and circuit installations\nFollows established procedures with troubleshooting and maintaining office equipment (if necessary); supports auxiliary equipment and machines\nAssists more senior staff with responding on-site incidents and acts as directed\nCollaboration\nCollaborates with others to resolve semi-routine facility incidents\nProvides assistance to more senior staff on infrastructure projects\nInforms stakeholders of inventory needs to maintain stock levels of parts and equipment\nQualifications\nTypical Degree & Years of Experience\nTypically requires a high school diploma and proven years of experience\nEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
