You will be involved in ordering and accepting the installation work of these systems and ensure that preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out in a timely and correct manner to ensure full availability. You will work closely with subcontractors and support them when needed. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating the work, subcontractors, and technical modifications.\nYou will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to quality, success, and high customer satisfaction.\nThis role is Monday - Friday 40 hours per week with around 6-10 weeks a year on call, making it a positive work/ life balance.\nYour tasks include:\nMaintenance of the Technical Facility Management infrastructure (electrical, mechanical, security, control systems, fire and security systems)\n\nMonitoring alarms and responding to notifications\n\nPerforming preventive and corrective maintenance\n\nAnalyzing failures and proposing improvements to increase infrastructure availability\n\nTaking proactive actions and documenting work orders in the Asset Management System (Maximo)\n\nOperating the technical infrastructure safely and efficiently\n\nParticipating in various projects from modification to new construction, including drafting technical specifications, evaluating quotes, and providing advice for contract awards\n\nCoordinating work according to Equinix procedures\n\nProviding daily, weekly, and monthly status reports to the Technical Facility Manager\n\nTraining new employees and sharing knowledge within the CFE team\n\nSupporting new installations (customer installations)\n\nEnsuring procedures are followed to achieve the highest level of service\n\nYour profile:\nMinimum completed MBO education or equivalent\n\nYou will be either electrically or mechanically biased\n\nDemonstrable work experience as a maintenance technician, facility manager, or service engineer\n\nProficiency in English (spoken and written) is required, and Dutch is preferred\n\nService-oriented and solution-focused\n\nWillingness to work on-call shifts\n\nExperience in project management\n\nMotivated and flexible\n\nBased in the Netherlands\n\nWhat We Offer:\nA competitive salary based on knowledge and experience\n\nFlexible working\n\nAn opportunity to learn and in a supportive environment!\n\n27 days of leave with the option to purchase 3 additional days\n\nEmployee Stock Purchase Plan and Company Pension Plan\n\nSubsidised lunch provided on location (voluntary opt in)\n\nComprehensive support for personal development and growth, both in terms of time and financial resources\n\nEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
