Success in this role requires a highly analytical, methodical approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to translate financial information into actionable business insights.\nKey Responsibilities\nExpense Management & Financial Analysis\nOwn the analysis and monitoring of Data Center operating expenses, commitments, and spend trends.\nPerform detailed variance analysis between actuals, forecasts, and budgets, identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.\nInvestigate financial discrepancies and spending anomalies, providing recommendations and resolution plans.\nUse advanced Excel modeling and data analysis techniques to deliver accurate financial insights and support decision making.\nAnalyze historical spending patterns and operational drivers to improve forecasting accuracy and financial predictability.\nBudgeting & Forecasting\nCoordinate and consolidate budget and forecast submissions from Data Center Operations teams.\nSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles through detailed financial analysis.\nDevelop financial projections and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.\nMonitor budget performance and provide guidance to business partners regarding spending commitments and financial targets.\nFinancial Reporting & Controls\nProduce recurring financial reports, expense summaries, commitment tracking, and KPI dashboards.\nSupport month-end close activities, including accrual calculations, variance commentary, and financial reporting requirements.\nEnsure data accuracy and compliance with financial policies and internal controls.\nSupport executive-ready summaries highlighting key expense drivers, financial risks, and performance trends.\nProcure-to-Pay Financial Oversight\nCreate and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders supporting Data Center Operations.\nReview financial impacts of purchase commitments and ensure alignment with approved budgets.\nPartner with vendors, Accounts Payable, and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice, receipting, and PO-related financial issues.\nMonitor procurement-related metrics and recommend process improvements that enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.\nProcess Improvement & Financial Problem Solving\nIdentify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, forecasting methodologies, and operational efficiencies.\nLeverage data analysis to solve moderately complex financial challenges and support business decision-making.\nRecommend and implement improvements that enhance visibility into expenses, commitments, and budget performance.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n3+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, expense management, or operational finance.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, financial models, and large dataset analysis.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and translate data into actionable insights.\nExperience supporting month-end close, accrual processes, variance analysis, and financial reporting.\nHighly organized, detail-oriented, and methodical approach to financial management and data integrity.\nThe targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:\nUnited States - DA6 Dallas : 70,000 - 105,000 USD / Annual\nUnited States - DC10 Washington DC : 77,000 - 115,600 USD / Annual\nUnited States - SV3 Silicon Valley : 84,000 - 126,000 USD / Annual\nUnited States - NY4 New York City : 77,000 - 115,600 USD / Annual\nOur pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs.
