This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy troubleshooting electrical or mechanical systems and want to build a long-term career in a critical infrastructure environment.\nWhat You'll Do\nAs a Facility Engineer, you will help ensure the safe and reliable operation of building infrastructure and support systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nFacility Operations & Maintenance\nPerform preventative maintenance checks on facility equipment and systems\nConduct routine repairs, maintenance and installations\nMonitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and respond to alarms\nSupport troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities\nAssist with the operation of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and safety systems\nEscalate and support resolution of facility issues and incidents\nVendor & Site Support\nCoordinate with external service providers and contractors\nSupport maintenance activities and ensure work is completed safely\nReview and follow maintenance procedures and work permits\nMaintain site logs and operational documentation\nProjects & Collaboration\nComplete work orders and support infrastructure projects\nAssist senior engineers with facility upgrades and incident response\nCollaborate with team members to maintain site reliability and uptime\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nDiploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline\nInternship experience or 1+ years of hands-on experience maintaining electrical or mechanical equipment\nExperience gained in facilities such as:Hospitals\nCommercial buildings\nShopping malls\nManufacturing facilities\nAirports\nIndustrial plants\nFacilities management environments\n\nStrong interest in troubleshooting and fixing equipment issues\nComfortable working in a hands-on operational environment\nAble to work rotating 12-hour shifts (including nights, weekends and public holidays)\nMust have unrestricted working rights in Singapore (Singapore Citizen, PR, or other valid work authorization that does not require sponsorship)\nAble to work on-site at SG6 (Jalan Tukang area)\nNice to Have\nExposure to electrical distribution systems, UPS, generators, HVAC, chillers or mechanical systems\nExperience using Building Management Systems (BMS)\nUnderstanding of safety procedures and permit-to-work processes\nWhy Join Equinix?\nWork for a global industry leader with operations across the world\nBe part of a brand-new data center facility\nComprehensive training provided on critical facility infrastructure\nLong-term career growth opportunities in engineering and operations\nExposure to cutting-edge technology and mission-critical environments\nEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
