You’ll find belonging, purpose, and a team that welcomes you-because when you feel valued, you’re empowered to do your best work.Job Summary\nIf you have an experience in network operations center, know how to resolve problems with networks, you were responsible for monitoring network devices, troubleshoot problems and issues with network, please review below responsibilities and qualifications needed for the job of NOC Engineer, apply today, and join our Equinix family.\nResponsibilities\nPerforms network monitoring: monitors network devices, software health and network tools health checks, monitors the network tools, and reports any device or software outages, prioritizing the issues\nTroubleshoots network problems and outages and provides Level 2 Network Triage support\nProvides escalation level support for Tier2 and Level 2 team\nApplies the published work around (S & W and H and W) to get the customer issue resolved within the SLA’s as expected\nProvides feedback to the various vendors on hardware and software to improve supportability\nPublishes and manages the NOC checklists. Delivers reports and metrics on incidents and events\nAs part of the Major Incident Team performs Alert monitoring and Incident communication actions:Creates and reports tickets for events and incidents\nOwns incident bridge setups, escalation calls and cross-functional coordination to drive for a quick closure of the incident or trouble ticket\n\nIdentify operational issues and suggest design alterations to address these issues\nWorking in a distributed Global Network operations support team\nSchedule network maintenances and upgrades when appropriate\nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant work experience\nExperience in previous NOC or another department related to network support\nVendor basic knowledge in Cisco, Juniper or Cisco;\nDeveloped knowledge of protocol: OSPF, BGP, VRRP, MPLS, Ethernet\nBasic knowledge of Optical Transport Network, Routing, Redundancy and Transport Protocols like OTU, DWDM, SDH\nApplied knowledge of LAN, WAN, internet technologies\nMinimum B2 in English\nWe offer\nFull time job agreement: 10 hours shift in \"follow the sun\" support model including weekends\nHybrid workspace model\nModern office in the city centre\nEmployment in a stable company with an established position in the global but also at local market\nWide range of non-cash benefits such as private medical care in VIP options, MultiSport, Lunch Pass and more\nOpportunity for professional development in the international environment by internal and external trainings \nThe targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:\nPoland - WA1 Warsaw : 124,000 - 198,000 PLN / Annual\nOur pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs.
