The role provides independent assurance through internal audits, certification support, compliance assessments, and advisory services to ensure alignment with internal policies, contractual commitments, regulatory obligations, and applicable standards. The position contributes to certification programs, customer audits, operational resilience initiatives, and continuous improvement activities while helping strengthen compliance maturity and operational effectiveness.\nResponsibilities\nAudit & Compliance Assurance\nPlan and perform risk-based internal audits across Equinix's global data center portfolio\nAssess compliance with operational policies, management system requirements, and customer commitments\nIdentify compliance gaps, control weaknesses, and opportunities for operational improvement\nVerify implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions\nContribute to the development and enhancement of audit methodologies, tools, and assurance practices\nCertification & Management Systems\nSupport the maintenance and continuous improvement of certifications and management systems, including, but not limited to:ISO 9001 (Quality)\nISO 27001 (Information Security)\nISO 22301 (Business Continuity)\nPCI DSS and SOC 1/SOC 2\n\nSupport external certification and regulatory audits, surveillance assessments, recertifications, and scope expansion activities\nDevelop and maintain compliance documentation, procedures, audit protocols, and supporting records\nContribute and participate in management reviews and certification-related activities\nBusiness Continuity & Operational Resilience\nEnsure Equinix data centers compliance with the enterprise Business Continuity Program, working with relevant internal stakeholders such as the First Line Compliance Teams and Business Continuity Program Office\nReview Business Recovery Plans, continuity testing activities, and operational resilience exercises\nAssess operational controls supporting service continuity and risk mitigation\nProvide subject matter expertise on business continuity and resilience requirements\nSupport readiness activities related to evolving regulatory and compliance expectations\nInformation Security & Compliance Support\nAssess operational compliance with information security requirements and controls\nSupport customer, regulatory, certification, and third-party audit activities.\nCollaborate with Physical Security, First Line Compliance Teams, InfoSec, Operations, Legal, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with requirements\nProvide guidance and interpretation of compliance requirements relevant to data center operations\nCompliance Analytics & Continuous Improvement\nAnalyze audit results, findings, corrective actions, and operational metrics to identify trends and recurring risks\nSupport development of compliance dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools\nContribute to automation and data-driven compliance monitoring initiatives\nDrive improvements that enhance compliance effectiveness and audit efficiency\nCustomer & Regulatory Support\nSupport customer audits and contractual compliance activities, including RFI/RFP requests from Sales\nParticipate in acquisition, integration and certification readiness efforts\nProvide compliance expertise for operational projects and strategic initiatives\nAssist with evidence gathering and response activities as par of regulatory assessments\nQualifications\nRequired Experience\nExperience in auditing, operational compliance, risk management, business continuity, quality management, or information security, preferably in a technology/data center industry\nWorking knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and ISO 22301 requirements\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders\nAbility to translate compliance requirements and audit results into practical operational recommendations\nPreferred Qualifications & Experience\nISO 9001, 27001 or 22301 Lead/Internal Auditor\nPCI DSS or SOC audit experience\nExperience working with stakeholders across multiple regions and countries\nExperience in critical infrastructure, technology, colocation, or data center environments\nExperience with Power BI, ServiceNow, audit management platforms, and compliance analytics\nAdditional Requirements\nAbility and willingness to travel internationally as required to perform and support audits, assessments, certifications, and customer engagements\nThe targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:\nPoland - Warsaw Office WAO : 188,000 - 282,000 PLN / Annual\nItaly - ML2 Milan : 48,700 - 73,100 EUR / Annual\nOur pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs.
