As a backend engineer on the product team, you will help deliver features from discovery through production operations, working alongside the product manager, frontend engineers and SRE.\n What you'll do\nBuild and maintain backend microservices and integrations in Java/Kotlin, delivering well-scoped features and components with limited supervision.\nWork with the product manager to turn customer needs into user stories and technical tasks.\nContribute to solution design and technical discussions and document design decisions for review by senior engineers.\nIntegrate with internal and external systems using REST APIs and workflow orchestration (Temporal).\nWrite unit and integration tests and take responsibility for the quality of the components you deliver.\nTake part in peer code reviews and follow team coding and engineering standards.\nContribute to CI/CD and DevSecOps improvements, such as pipeline enhancements, static analysis and dependency scanning.\nHelp monitor, troubleshoot, and join incident response.\nUse company-approved AI-assisted development tools in your daily work and validate and take ownership of the output.\nBring ideas for new tools and technologies and share short evaluations or prototypes with the team.\nWhat you bring\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and an internship, or 2+ years of professional backend software development experience.\nSolid skills in Java or Kotlin and experience with Spring Boot.\nExperience designing and consuming REST APIs, integrating through messaging systems (e.g. Kafka), and working with relational databases and ORMs (e.g., Hibernate).\nFamiliarity with automated testing, Git and CI/CD pipelines.\nClear written and verbal communication in English, and a willingness to learn from feedback.\nNice to have\nExperience in a product-oriented team\nTemporal or another workflow orchestration engine\nObservability tooling (metrics, logging, tracing)\nNetworking fundamentals (IP, routing, BGP) relevant to Internet Access\nThe targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:\nPoland - Warsaw Office WAO : 139,000 - 223,000 PLN / Annual\nOur pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs.
