This role provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and people management to ensure scalable, predictable, and customer-centric deployment execution.\nThe position establishes operational objectives, priorities, policies, and procedures that drive regional performance and support broader organizational goals. The Senior Manager is accountable for workforce planning, budget management, operational excellence, customer experience, and cross-functional alignment across multiple business functions.\nAs a senior leader, this role influences regional business outcomes through effective stakeholder engagement, risk management, continuous process improvement, and development of high-performing teams.\nResponsibilities\nTeam Leadership & Talent Development\nProvide leadership, direction, and coaching to Technical Deployment managers and individual contributors across the region.\nDevelop and execute talent strategies including succession planning, workforce planning, organizational design, and employee development.\nFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, innovation, and continuous improvement.\nBuild leadership capabilities within the organization through coaching, mentoring, and career development programs.\nDrive employee engagement, retention, and regional data center deployment strategies aligned with company objectives and customer growth initiatives.\nTranslate organizational goals into measurable operational plans and priorities.\nPartner with senior leaders across Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Construction, Product Management, Network Engineering, and Supply Chain to drive business outcomes.\nRepresent Technical Deployment in regional leadership forums, business reviews, and strategic planning activities.\nAlign resources and priorities to support changing customer and business demands.\nCustomer Implementations & Delivery Excellence\nOwn regional data center deployment performance and ensure successful delivery of customer implementations and data center infrastructure deployment projects.\nLead teams responsible for standard, non-standard, complex, and large-scale customer deployments.\nEnsure project plans, schedules, dependencies, risks, and resource requirements are effectively managed.\nDrive delivery predictability, implementation quality, operational readiness, and customer satisfaction.\nEstablish governance mechanisms to ensure consistent project execution across the region.\nServe as executive sponsor for critical customer engagements and strategic deployments.\nProject Portfolio Management\nProvide oversight and prioritization of regional data center deployment portfolios.\nBalance competing priorities across customer commitments, operational constraints, and business objectives.\nReview project health, resource allocation, delivery risks, and escalation plans.\nEnsure cross-functional dependencies are identified and managed throughout project lifecycles.\nDrive execution excellence across multiple concurrent programs and initiatives.\nCustomer & Executive Escalation Management\nServe as the highest level escalation point for complex customer, operational, and delivery issues within the region.\nLead resolution efforts for business-critical data center deployments and strategic customer concerns.\nPartner with executive stakeholders to address risks, obstacles, and customer challenges.\nEnsure timely communication and effective decision-making during escalations.\nOperational Excellence & Transformation\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives that increase operational efficiency, scalability, quality, and customer experience.\nChampion process standardization, automation, and best-practice adoption across deployment activities.\nIdentify opportunities to simplify workflows and eliminate operational bottlenecks.\nLead implementation of new tools, technologies, and process improvements.\nAct as a change agent during organizational and operational transformation initiatives.\nRisk Management & Governance\nEstablish governance frameworks to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks.\nMonitor and manage regional risks related to customer data center deployments, resource capacity, dependencies, and operational readiness.\nEnsure effective escalation management and decision-making processes are in place.\nDrive resolution of systemic issues that impact project delivery and customer outcomes.\nData, Analytics & Performance Management\nUtilize data and analytics to drive operational decision-making and strategic planning.\nDevelop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure regional success.\nLead forecasting, capacity planning, and performance reporting activities.\nIdentify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities through data analysis.\nEnsure data quality and reporting accuracy across deployment systems and processes.\nSystems & Tools Enablement\nPartner with cross-functional teams to identify system enhancement opportunities.\nSupport implementation and optimization of data center deployment-related tools and platforms.\nDrive adoption of technology solutions that improve visibility, efficiency, and customer outcomes.\nEnsure teams effectively utilize systems to support operational objectives.\nVendor & Partner Management\nProvide leadership and oversight for vendor-related data center deployment activities.\nPartner with Operations, Procurement, Construction, and Supply Chain teams to ensure required services and materials are delivered on schedule.\nMonitor vendor performance and drive accountability for commitments supporting customer deployments.\nSupport strategic vendor relationships that contribute to successful project execution.\nFinancial & Resource Management\nOwn regional operating budgets and resource planning activities.\nManage headcount forecasting, contractor utilization, and workforce capacity planning.\nMonitor financial performance and identify opportunities for cost optimization.\nBalance investment decisions with operational requirements and customer commitments.\nEnsure efficient utilization of resources while maintaining delivery quality standards.\nQualifications\nRequired\nTypically requires 12+ years of relevant experience in technical deployment, infrastructure delivery, project management, construction management, data center operations, telecommunications, or related disciplines.\nDemonstrated experience within data center, colocation, cloud infrastructure, telecommunications, real estate, or mission-critical operations environments.\n5+ years of experience leading managers and/or geographically dispersed teams.\nDemonstrated success managing large-scale, complex customer implementations and infrastructure deployment programs.\nStrong people leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams.\nStrong executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levels.\nExperience managing operational metrics, forecasting, capacity planning, and business performance reviews.\nExcellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong financial acumen and budget management experience.\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Information Technology, Project Management, etc. or equivalent experience.\nPreferred\nExperience supporting customer-facing technical delivery organizations.\nKnowledge of construction delivery, site readiness, capacity management, and real estate deployment processes.\nProven success leading organizational change and operational transformation initiatives.\nPMP, PgMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent certifications.\nExperience leveraging data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to improve operational performance.\nThe targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:\nUnited
