You'll find belonging, purpose, and a team that welcomes you-because when you feel valued, you're empowered to do your best work.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nLead the investigation and resolution of complex infrastructure incidents, restoring services within established SLA requirements\nAnalyze and troubleshoot network, Linux, security, load balancing, and hardware-related issues across production environments\nManage customer requests and technical demands, ensuring appropriate ownership, communication, and resolution\nPlan and implement changes related to corrections, migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements\nConduct root cause analysis (RCA) for major or recurring incidents and identify corrective and preventive actions\nPerform technical assessments of production environments and identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, and continuous improvement\nCollect and analyze technical information from managed environments to support operational, engineering, and customer requirements\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation for customer production environments\nOperate, maintain, and support customer infrastructure according to contracted services and defined operational procedures\nSupport L2 teams by providing technical analysis, troubleshooting, and escalation support\nProvide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to other analysts, contributing to the development of the team\nIdentify opportunities for service improvement and, when applicable, potential opportunities for new solutions or services\nParticipate in on-call rotations and provide technical support during critical incidents and maintenance activities\n\nQualifications:\n\nIntermediate to Advanced English, with the ability to communicate effectively in technical discussions, written communications, and customer interactions;\nAvailability to work Monday through Friday from 1 PM to 10 PM, in a hybrid style (two time at the office).\n\nNetwork Infrastructure\n\nStrong experience with enterprise networking and troubleshooting.\nExperience with Cisco, Juniper, Dell, Aruba, and/or Arista platforms.\nKnowledge of network infrastructure, including SFPs, fiber optics, and media converters.\nStrong troubleshooting skills in routing, DNS, connectivity, latency, and performance.\nSolid knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VXLAN, MLAG/vPC, Link Aggregation, Spanning Tree, VRF/VRRP, GRE, ACLs, NAT/PAT, and route filtering.\nStrong understanding of IPv4 and IPv6.\n\nLinux\n\nExperience administering and troubleshooting Linux environments (Red Hat, Debian, Ubuntu, and derivatives).\nKnowledge of user management, file systems, LVM, disk management, and system maintenance.\nExperience with DNS, routing, Apache, IPTables, and VPN technologies (IPsec/OpenVPN).\nProficiency with Linux command-line tools.\n\nSecurity\n\nExperience with enterprise firewalls, preferably FortiGate.\nKnowledge of FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.\nExperience with IPS/IDS, Web Filtering, Application Control, SSL Inspection, VPNs, and MFA.\nPalo Alto experience is a plus.\n\nLoad Balancing\n\nExperience with KEMP LoadMaster.\nKnowledge of F5 BIG-IP and A10 Networks is a plus.\n\nRemote Access & Hardware\n\nExperience with SSH, Telnet, iLO, and iDRAC.\nKnowledge of Dell and HPE server hardware.\nAbility to troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and infrastructure issues.\n\nMonitoring\n\nExperience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools.\nAbility to analyze alerts, metrics, and performance indicators.\nExperience with Grafana and Zabbix.\nMonitoring administration and configuration experience is a plus.\n\nEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
