What does the job involve? This position offers an opportunity to work with environmental management at Norway’s only refinery, where process technology, industrial operations and environmental performance are closely interconnected.In this role, you will work closely with operational and technical teams to understand and quantify the environmental impact of the plant. You will use environmental and process data to evaluate emissions, identify deviations and improvement opportunities, and provide a sound technical basis for environmental decision-making. You will contribute to environmental reporting and -monitoring, follow up regulatory requirements and environmental permits, and support both day-to-day operations and longer-term improvement initiatives. The role also provides opportunities to contribute to the further development of Mongstad’s environmental management systems and environmental performance.
