Responsible for compliant and efficient preparation of statutory and other special purpose reporting, and preparation of consolidated financial information. Ensure compliance and quality in historical financial data and reporting. Drive competence and development for relevant topics.You are utilizing your knowledge independently to solve highly complex tasks with a short to medium-term tactical impact/risk. You follow and comply with safety, ethics, and compliance requirements and align with leadership expectations and company values.\nWhat will my tasks be?\nWithin this position, your key tasks will be to:\nPrepare and review statutory accounts for UK entities.\n\nReview the preparation of monthly reporting for group purpose, UK legal entity and BA reporting.\n\nSupport relationships with external auditors and coordination of audit processes.\n\nUnderstand and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.\n\nEstablish and review process documentation.\n\nAct as Subject Matter Expert (SME) within certain areas (UK GAAP/IFRS).\n\nResolve complex accounting and reporting issues and provide guidance to team members.\n\nSupport/Prepare technical accounting memos.\n\nKeep abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations and implementing necessary updates.\n\nDeliver results through supervising others (i.e. outsourced service provider).\n\nDrive improvement of global accounting and reporting processes, including digital solutions.\n\nHere's what we expect from you:\nAt Equinor, there are some overall qualities we regard as essential.
