Your role will include:\nCivil Design Support\nAssist with the design and analysis of earthworks, site grading, roads, drainage systems, and related infrastructure for oil and gas facilities\nSupport the preparation of civil calculations, design checks, engineering reports, and technical documentation\nDevelop engineering sketches and markups for drafting staff to prepare drawings and models\nAssist with material take-offs (MTOs), quantity estimates, and construction work packagesSupport the review of drawings and project deliverables for accuracy and completeness\n\nCoordination & Team Collaboration\nCoordinate with process, piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and structural disciplines to gather design inputs and resolve interface issues\nParticipate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineers and project stakeholders\nCommunicate effectively with internal project teams and support interactions with clients and vendors as required\nProject Execution & Delivery\nSupport the delivery of civil engineering deliverables in accordance with project scope, schedule, and quality requirements\nAssist with vendor data reviews, procurement support activities, and technical clarificationsContribute to design optimization efforts, constructability reviews, and project documentation\n\nSupport the preparation of engineering reports, calculations, and technical deliverables\nConstruction & Field Support\nAssist with responses to RFIs, site queries, and engineering clarifications during construction\nParticipate in field reviews, inspections, and site visits as required\nSupport senior engineers in resolving technical issues and ensuring designs remain practical and constructible\n Safety, Quality & Compliance\nFollow established engineering quality processes and procedures\nSupport compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications (e.g., CSA, NBC, provincial codes)\nDemonstrate commitment to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirementsSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the civil engineering discipline\n\n About You\nYou are an early-career civil engineer who enjoys practical design work, problem-solving, and learning from experienced multidisciplinary teams.
