Your role will include:\nPiping Design & Engineering Support\nSupport piping design, specification development, and installation activities for oil and gas facilities projects\nAssist with the preparation of piping engineering deliverables, including:\no Piping specifications\no Line designation tables\no Material requisitions\no Specialty item specifications\no Isometric and general arrangement drawing reviews\nSupport the development of project specifications and technical documentation\nAssist with identifying stress engineering requirements related to piping system design\nCoordination & Team Collaboration\nWork closely with piping engineers, designers, drafters, and multidisciplinary project teams\nCoordinate with global workshare teams across Canada, Australia, USA, and India\nAssist in resolving interdisciplinary design issues and project interfaces\nParticipate in project meetings, design reviews, and engineering discussions\nSupport knowledge transfer activities, including assisting future internship students where appropriate\nProject Execution & Delivery\nSupport the delivery of piping engineering deliverables in accordance with scope, schedule, and quality expectations\nContribute to project documentation including Design Basis Memorandums (DBMs), studies, execution plans, and scopes of work\nParticipate in 30%, 60%, and 90% model reviews to identify opportunities for design optimization\nSupport review and coordination of client requirements, project specifications, and technical expectations\nAssist with maintaining project documentation and engineering records\nConstruction & Field Support\nSupport responses to RFIs and technical queries related to piping systems\nAssist with the review of installation requirements and constructability considerations\nParticipate in site visits or field activities as required\nHelp ensure designs remain practical, safe, and aligned with project objectives\nSafety, Quality & Compliance\nFollow established engineering quality processes, procedures, and standards\nSupport compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications\nDemonstrate commitment to health, safety, and environmental programs\nAssist with continuous improvement initiatives and the development of engineering standards and procedures\nAbout You\nYou are an enthusiastic engineering student who enjoys problem-solving, technical learning, and working within collaborative project teams.
