Recognized by Time as one of the most influential companies of 2023, along with awards from Linkedin andLattice, we are grateful to Equipsters for building a sustainable treatment program that has served thousands of patients and families.\nAbout the role\nThe Revenue Accounting Manager will manage revenue recognition for the consolidated company, ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition and reconciliation across systems (accounting system, billing system, etc.). This role requires extensive experience in revenue recognition accounting, exceptional analytical skills, experience building reports with SQL, excel, etc. and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This is a cross functional role working with many teams, including Finance, Revenue Cycle, and Product & Technology.\nResponsibilities\nServe as the primary point of contact for all revenue-related questions and reporting.\n\nAutomate reporting for revenue, AR and implicit price concession (IPC).\n\nRegularly reconcile the charges and collections from Equip’s billing system (AMD) to Equip’s EHR system and the bank (collections).\n\nPrepare monthly revenue and IPC entries and reconcile corresponding general ledger accounts.\n\nTechnical Accounting memo preparation for guidance application, policies and non-standard transactions\n\nDevelopment and documentation of revenue accounting processes and procedures\n\nReview and interpret payor contracts to determine accounting implications\n\nAudit the pay rates sheet used in revenue reporting and billing to ensure revenue recognition and billing align with commercial contracts.\n\nMonitor and report on AR days outstanding (DSO) by payor.\n\nWork closely with the Revenue Cycle team to discuss reconciliation differences or payor-specific issues.\n\nPartner with Finance to enhance payor-specific revenue forecasting.\n\nMonitor and report on cash collections and uses regularly.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree required in Accounting, or a related field.\n\n8+ years experience in a combination of Revenue Accounting, Finance.\n\nStrong understanding of revenue recognition principles, particularly ASC 606.\n\nAbility to research accounting literature and simplify complex situations.\n\nExperience in high-tech or software industries.\n\nProficiency in analyzing large datasets using Microsoft Excel & Power BI, and identifying trends.\n\nProficiency with Google Suite and Excel.\n\nStrong attention to detail.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to explain complex data and strategies to diverse audiences.\n\nHighly collaborative with a deep sense of ownership and accountability.\n\nAbility to build cross functional relationships and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.\n\nSelf-starter who is resourceful, loves to learn, takes initiative, and thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.\n\nTime Off:\nFlex PTO policy (3-5 wks/year recommended) + 11 paid company holidays.\n\nGenerous parental leave.\n\nCore Benefits:\nCompetitive Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and AD&D insurance.\nEquip pays for a significant percentage of benefits premiums for individuals and families.\n\nSpring Health, a 100% employer-paid mental health benefit through Guardian.\nYou can receive 5 free therapy sessions and 5 free coaching sessions per year for you and each of your dependents.\n\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP), a company paid resource for mental health, legal services, financial support, and more!\n\nHealthJoy, a 100% employer-paid platform connecting you to a healthcare concierge who can help you navigate your benefits.\n\n401K Option!\n\nOther Benefits\nWork From Home Additional Perks:\n$50/month stipend added directly to an employee’s paycheck to cover home internet expenses.\n\n$250/month stipend to use a co-working space.\n\nInitial work-from-home stipend of up to $500.\nReload of $200 on the home office stipend at the 3-year mark and then every other year after that (year 5, year 7, etc.).\n\nCompany Laptop.\n\nPhysical Demands\nWork is performed from home, with few requirements to travel.
