Perks!\nCompetitive salary, with overtime available\n\nExcellent benefit package with premiums paid by the company\n\nTool allowance\n\nUniform, safety boots/shoes, safety gear provided\n\nRRSP Match\n\nSafety-minded organization\n\nStable, year-round employment\n\nContinuous training, learning and development opportunities\n\nFun-loving work environment with strong social responsibility \n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nDuties and Responsibilities\nInspect, service and maintain a diverse fleet of construction equipment including (but not limited to) earth-moving equipment, compaction equipment, and aerial equipment such as telehandlers, boom lifts and scissor lifts on customer jobsites (and in the shop as needed).\n\nDiagnose equipment malfunctions and make required repairs, testing repaired equipment for proper performance on customer jobsites (and in the shop as needed). \nProvide a high standard of customer service in all interactions with customers.\nMaintain documentation of inspections, maintenance, and work orders in a thorough and timely manner.\n\nAssist with other duties within the branch such as washing and cleaning equipment, organizing the yard, deliveries, answering the phone, etc. to support the opening of the new London, ON location.\n\nAdhere to all company Health and Safety Policies.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring to the Team\nQualifications and Requirements:\nMinimum 2 years of mechanical experience is required, working on a variety of construction equipment. 421A or 310T license is an asset (but not required). \nValid class G driver's license with clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points).\n\nMust be able to lift up to approximately 50 lbs.\n\nHighly flexible; must be comfortable with adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment, and willing to assist with other duties within the branch.\n\nMust be available and willing to work overtime and on an on-call rotation as needed. \nStrong understanding of computer applications and diagnostic tools.\nStrong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps, and motors.\nExcellent problem-solving skills.\nCustomer-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.\n\nSelf-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision.\nPride in what you do!\n\nWant to learn more about career opportunities at Cooper Equipment Rentals?
