The Rental Coordinator will be a main point of contact for customer inquiries, equipment rentals, and logistics coordination,ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a high standard of service. This role requires strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing \nDuties and Responsibilities: \nAnswer customer and sales team inquiries, providing rental solutions and processing contracts with accuracy and professionalism. \nCoordinate equipment deliveries and pickups by dispatching drivers and communicating timelines clearly. \nCollaborate with the Service Department to address equipment repairs, maintenance scheduling, and fleet availability. \nMaintain accurate inventoryrecords; reconcile and communicate updates daily to ensure strong inventory control. \nManage rental documentation including cycle billing, contract filing, open-order reports, and equipment exchanges. Use Systematic Rental Management system accurately and effectively. \nCommunicate and coordinate effectively with teammates in the shop and yard to understand equipment availability / to ensure equipment is rental ready. \nWork with internal teams to address and resolve customer issues, maintaining a high level of service and satisfaction. \nFollow standard operating procedures to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency in branch processes. \nContribute to a safe and positive work environment by following company safety policies and promoting The Cooper Difference. \nWhat You’ll Bring to the Team \nQualifications and Requirements: \nMinimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, customer service, or a related field is required. Experience in the equipment rental industry is a definite asset. \nHigh school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education in business, administration, or logistics is an asset. \nKnowledge of construction equipment and rental fleet operations is an asset. \nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. \nExcellent communication skills (verbal and written); able to interact professionally with customers, drivers, service technicians, and sales staff. \nCustomer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills. \nProficiency withMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); PowerBI orother reporting tools are an asset. \nComfortable learning and working with rental management systems (Systematics or similar software preferred). \nStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail; able to identify issues and proactively recommend solutions. \nAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. \nDemonstrated flexibility and adaptability when priorities shift or urgent customer needs arise. \nCommitment to workplace safety and adherence to all company safety standards. \nHigh level of accountability, professionalism, and pride in your work. \nWant to learn more about career opportunities at Cooper Equipment Rentals?
