Perks!\nCompetitive salary, with overtime available\nExcellent benefit package with premiums paid by the company\nTool allowance \nUniform, safety boots/shoes, safety gear provided\nRRSP Match\nSafety-minded organization\nStable, year-round employment\nContinuous training, learning and development opportunities\nFun-loving work environment with strong social responsibility\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nRead and interpret engineered drawings. \nFabricate and repair structures and equipment by welding various materials and using welding techniques and applicable welding equipment. \nMaintain a safe and clean work environment. \nWork outside in variable weather conditions and temperature ranges. \nFabricate and repair structures and equipment on customers’ sites as needed. \nAssist in assembly and disassembly of fleet equipment in preparation for orders. \nWhat You’ll Bring to the Team\nQualifications and Requirements:\nValid Class G driver’s license with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). You will be required to provide a copy of your updated abstract upon request. \nStructural fitting and welding experience required. \n3+ years’ experience in welding steel and aluminum. \nSMAW, GMAW and/or FCAW certifications are an asset. \nCWB certification for stick welding is an asset. \nComfortable working outdoors year-round. \nRigging experience an asset. \nCustomer oriented, willingness to learn and possess excellent problem-solving skills. \nWilling and available to work overtime when needed. \nHighly adaptable, self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment. \nStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner. \nPhysical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
