Perks!\nCompetitive salary, with overtime available\nExcellent benefit package with premiums paid by the company\nUniform, safety boots/shoes, safety gear provided\nRRSP Match \nSafety-minded organization \nStable, year-round employment\nContinuous training, learning and development opportunities \nFun-loving work environment with strong social responsibility\nWhat You’ll Be Doing \nDuties and Responsibilities:\nFill propane cylinders and prepare tanks for delivery.\nOperate a forklift to load and unload propane, equipment, and parts.\nDeliver propane to customer sites and ensure all deliveries are secure and compliant with company procedures.\nMaintain accurate delivery, pickup, and customer records, securing signatures as needed.\nReport delivery or pickup challenges to your supervisor and share potential sales opportunities with management.\nVerify orders against deliveries to ensure accuracy.\nCommunicate with the branch team if behind schedule so customers can be updated.\nAssist with ordering parts, equipment, and inventory management.\nWash, dry, and detail equipment using pressure washers and other tools.\nHelp with equipment loading/unloading, fueling, and yard organization.\nInspect returned equipment for damage, report issues, and complete service tags.\nFollow all health and safety policies.\nCollaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.\nPerform other duties as required.\nWhat You’ll Bring to the Team \nQualifications and Requirements:\nValid Class G/5 driver’s license with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (maximum 3 demerit points). Must provide an updated abstract upon request.\nFamiliarity with local roads.\nPrevious LPG/propane handling or fuel delivery experience is an asset.\nExperience with inventory management and/or warehouse operations preferred.\nStrong customer-service skills with a professional, courteous attitude.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nPhysical stamina and ability to stand for long periods. Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.\nComfortable working outdoors year-round.\nWillingness to work overtime during peak seasonal demand (e.g., winter months).\nCommitment to job-specific training (Propane Training Institute, TDG, etc.).\nStrong problem-solving, organizational, and adaptability skills.\nMechanical aptitude and/or equipment operation experience is an asset.\nInterest in learning more about construction equipment and the rental industry.\nComfortable using computers/technology for inspections, inventory, and recordkeeping.\nWant to learn more about career opportunities at Cooper Equipment Rentals?
