Perks!\nCompetitive salary, with overtime available\nExcellent benefit package with premiums paid by the company\nUniform, safety boots/shoes, safety gear provided\nRRSP Match \nSafety-minded organization \nStable, year-round employment\nContinuous training, learning and development opportunities \nFun-loving work environment with strong social responsibility \nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nWash/Clean pump and power equipment (generators, dewatering and sewage pumps, etc.) when it’s returned. \nMaintain a clean and organized equipment yard and wash bay area. \nAssist drivers with loading and unloading equipment.\nOperate heavy-duty forklift. \nCheck equipment for damage upon return, report damage and fill out service tags for all returned equipment.\nAssist with inventory management. \nDeliver small equipment and tools if needed. \nConduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.\nWhat You’ll Bring to the Team\nQualifications and Requirements:\nValid Class G/5 driver’s license required, with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). You’ll be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request.\nPhysical stamina and ability to stand for long periods. Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.\nForklift license or experience operating forklifts is an asset.\nMust be comfortable with working outdoors year-round. \nMechanical aptitude and/or previous experience operating equipment is an asset. \nExcellent problem-solving and organizational skills.\nHighly adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.\nSelf-starter, very customer-service oriented and works well in a team environment.\nCuriosity to learn new things & understand more about construction equipment and the rental industry. \nComfortable with computers/technology (for filling out inspections, inventory management, etc.)\nFamiliarity with inventory systems, shipping/receiving, and warehouse best practices is an asset.\nWant to learn more about career opportunities at Cooper Equipment Rentals?
