We’re on a mission to transform an industry that’s been stuck in the past by empowering contractors and communities through innovative technology, real-time support, and a team that truly cares.\nWe’re hiring a Technology Warehouse Associate\n\nat our Telematics Warehouse in Overland Park, KS and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. \nThe Technology Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting all aspects of warehouse operations related to technology hardware, including receiving, inventory management, device provisioning, kitting, quality inspection, order fulfillment, and shipping. This role ensures that all products and devices are accurately received, properly configured, carefully assembled, and shipped in a “field-ready” condition to meet customer and company standards.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nInventory & Receiving\nReceive and inspect inbound shipments for accuracy, damage, and completeness.\nVerify product quantities and serial numbers; scan and record devices in the inventory management system.\nGenerate and apply product identification, tracking, and shipping labels.\nDirect incoming products to the appropriate location (quality inspection, provisioning, storage, etc.).\nSupport purchase order entry, invoice tracking, and inventory reconciliation as needed.\nMaintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and audits.\nDevice Readiness & Configuration\nPower up, provision, assemble, and configure telematics and electronic devices according to current specifications.\nPerform firmware updates and configuration changes via OTA, USB, serial connection, or command-line tools.\nConduct quality inspections on inbound devices and wiring harnesses.\nTroubleshoot and triage device issues during provisioning and readiness processes.\nCollaborate with quality, development, and support teams to ensure compliance with versioning and configuration requirements.\nEnsure all devices are “field ready” prior to shipment.\nKitting & Assembly\nReview and interpret work orders and pick lists to assemble kits and subassemblies.\nAccurately count, assemble, and package components according to customer specifications.\nOperate warehouse equipment including scan guns, label printers, shrink wrappers, and other packaging tools.\nMaintain a high standard of quality control during kit assembly and preparation.\nOrder Fulfillment & Shipping\nPerform final quality checks against pick lists to ensure 100% order accuracy.\nPack orders to prevent damage and optimize shipping efficiency.\nGenerate packing slips and apply appropriate carrier, regulatory, and lithium battery labels.\nPrepare small package and LTL shipments for carrier pickup.\nSupport domestic and international shipping processes, including customs documentation when required.\nLoad outbound packages and freight safely and efficiently.\nSafety & Continuous Improvement\nFollow all safety standards and warehouse best practices.\nMaintain a clean and organized work environment.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase quality, efficiency, and accuracy.\nPerform other duties as assigned to support warehouse and operations functions.\nWhy EquipmentShare?\nBecause we do things differently - and we think you’ll feel it from day one. You bring grit, heart, and humility to your work, and you’re excited about the opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.\nWe’re looking for people who:\nSee challenges as opportunities\nEmbrace change and continuous improvement\nBring energy, effort, and optimism every day\nSkills & Qualifications\nFamiliarity with telematics or consumer electronics devices preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and shipping documentation.\nExperience using tools such as wire cutters, crimpers, volt meters, and related equipment preferred.\nProficiency with PCs and standard software applications; familiarity with command-line tools is a plus.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nExcellent organizational and communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.\nEducation and Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nAt least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or technology fulfillment environment required.\nExperience with inventory management systems required.\nPrevious experience in shipping, receiving, kitting, or device provisioning preferred.\nExperience with UPS WorldShip, LTL freight, small package shipping, and Customs processes is a plus.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift up to 70 pounds on occasion.\nAbility to stand and/or walk for 8-10 hours per shift (with breaks).\nAbility to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and use ladders and material handling equipment.\nAbility to safely handle electronic equipment, including devices containing batteries.\nA Workplace For All\nAt EquipmentShare, we believe the best solutions come from a team that reflects the world around us.
