At all times, you will be required to conduct yourself in a professional manner that reflects the core values of GreenPoint Energy, take initiative and seek out opportunity and responsibility, displaying a strong work ethic and both ability and willingness to execute on a hands-on basis.\nThis includes supporting the General Manager- Planning and Community by:\nIdentifying planning and environmental approval risks and pathways for projects at all levels of government \nOrganising and attending meetings with Local and State Governments, and other authorities/agencies\nCommunicating effectively and appropriately with a diverse range of stakeholders, including members of the public\nCollaborate with internal project teams to progress the development of projects\nKey Accountabilities\nAccountable for achieving results and targets including but not limited to the following key performance indicators (KPIs):\nAssist in tracking project milestones and key deliverables\nManage and engage a range of technical experts to facilitate the development approval process\nLead in securing planning approvals for a range of Renewable Energy Projects\nAssist in community engagement activities\nRequirements\nQualifications & Experience5-7 years of experience in town planning, development approvals, or environmental planning, preferably within the renewable energy, or infrastructure sectors\nTertiary qualification in Urban/Town Planning, Environmental Science, or a related discipline\nStrong working knowledge of State and Local planning policies, legislation, codes and guidelines and the environmental approval processes across Australian jurisdictions\nExperience liaising and negotiating with Local and State Government bodies and other authorities/agencies\nProven ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including members of the public and local communities\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills\nAbility to work autonomously and drive initiatives in a fast-paced
