In this role, you will contribute to the ongoing maintenance of our existing automated tests while designing and developing new ones to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our software products.\nYou’llreport to theTest Automation Managerandwork closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to enhance our testing capabilities and support the continuous delivery of high-quality solutions to our clients.\nYourWeekwith Equisoft:\nDesign, write, execute, and maintain automated tests and the supporting frameworks for:\n\nUI automated testing.\n\nWeb servicesand APItesting.\n\nPerformance testing for API and data load processes.\n\nConduct peer code reviews.\n\nWrite and maintain documentation for automated tests.\n\nManage and create associated test cases in our test management tool (TestRail), ensuring alignment with automated tests and reporting of results.\n\nRequirements:\nTechnical\nMinimum 5 years of experience in software testing, preferably focused on web front-end and web applications\n\nBackground in UI and Web Service/API test automationor a strong desire to move into this field\n\nProven experience automating complex web user interfacesor agenuine interest and passion for learning\n\nFamiliarity with or willingness to learn tools such as Postman, ReadyAPI, or Swagger for API/Web Service testing\n\nHands-on experience with UI automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, and/or Applitools\n\nSolid understanding of test design and requirements analysis\n\nProficient in writing and executing SQL queries and stored procedures in SQL Server\n\nAwareness of the business environments and contexts into which solutions are deployed\n\nMethodical, pragmatic approach to testing, with a strong understanding of the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle\n\nExcellent command of English, both written and spoken\n\nSoft skills\nExcellent communication skills, both written and oral\n\nAbility to use initiative or take instruction as the situation demands\n\nInquisitive with good problem-solving skills\n\nAbility to pick up and understand technical & business concepts\n\nWillingness to learn\n\nStrong sense of organisation and prioritisation\n\nAbility to multi-task in a rapid-paced environment\n\nReliable and dependable\n\nEnthusiasm for what we are trying to achieve and the self-motivation to make a difference\n\nAppreciation for being part of a wider team\n\nNice to Haves:\nBachelor’s degree in computer engineering or information Technology or College Diploma combined to 3 years of relevant experience.\n\nKnowledge of the financial services industry, particularly in platforms, wealth management, pension administration and/orfund administration\n\nExperience of building and maintaining automated test frameworks using Python\n\nGood understanding of operation processes and systems\n\nExperience of the Atlassian tool set (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo)\n\nExcellent understanding of web services / API’s\n\nExperience of TestRail for test management\n\nExperience integrating automated test frameworks with third-party tools such as TestRail\n\nEquisoft is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
