The Business Analyst will be responsible for producing formal requirements and providing feature and capability guidance.\nYour Day with Equisoft:\nParticipate in client, internal and industry workshops as required\n\nWork closely with the technical team, product management and clients to document functional specifications that will benefit the core solution.\n\nConceptualize business needs and processes into functional building blocks that fit in the capabilities of our existing software.\n\nTranslate user stories from various unstructured requirements into business, functional and non-functional requirements (with acceptance criteria)\n\nCollaborate with UI experts to design user interfaces and create low fidelity wireframes and detailed screen specifications tasks.\n\nAssist the development team during the sprint (answer questions, review test cases, etc.)\n\nParticipate in pre-planning sessions with the Development Team Lead and Product Owner to define next sprint priorities.\n\nProvide pre-sales support on the product from time to time.\n\nRequirements:\nTechnical\nBachelor's Degree or College Diploma\n\n5+ years working for a life insurance company or in a similar role\n\nStrong documentation skills, with the ability to create clear and concise requirement artifacts\n\nProficient in business analysis techniques, including user story creation, process modeling and requirements elicitation\n\nKnowledge of Life and Health insurance products and processes is an asset\n\nSQL knowledge & experience in a Microservice architecture environment is an asset\n\nFluency in both written and spoken French and English (oral and written)\n\nSoft skills\nStrong sense of organization and prioritization of tasks\n\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills\n\nAbility to communicate, write and synthesize information\n\nAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment\n\nTeam spirit, tact, diplomacy, autonomy, accuracy and discipline\n\nEquisoft is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
