If that’s not enough, then check out these other perks below:\nHiring Location: Canada (Montreal or Quebec City)\n\nYou are working in a collaborative hybrid workspace\n\nFull-time Permanent Role\n\nBenefits available day 1: Medical, Dental, Retirement Plan, Telemedicine Program, Employee Assistance Program, etc.\n\nNumber of hours per week: 40\n\nEducational Support (LinkedIn Learning, LOMA Courses and Equisoft University)\n\nRole: The Specialist - Global Compensation & Benefits reports to the Vice-President of Human Resources and works closely with the Human Resources and management teams.\nThe ideal candidate will act with autonomy as a trusted advisor and key player to support the Human Resources function and the management team on compensation best practices (monetary and non-monetary), benefits, salary forecasts, market data analysis, compensation budget and mid- and long-term compensation strategy.\nYour Day with Equisoft\nDevelop and present the global compensation strategy, including proposals, results, and success metrics to executive leadership\n\nAssess, propose and implement strategic recommendations and enhancements to our compensation programs, policies and processes in collaboration with the HR team\n\nStay updated on best practices to ensure competitive compensation offerings\n\nServe as the go-to expert for complex compensation questions across the organization\n\nPerform market research and statistical analysis to develop our Global Compensation strategy\n\nAdminister the annual compensation planning cycle in Workday, including system configuration, data validation, manager training, processing compensation changes, preparing payroll data, and ensuring 100% accuracy of all calculations and approvals by established deadlines\n\nRecommend and benchmark benefits plans, including health, welfare, and retirement, to ensure competitiveness and compliance with local regulations\n\nLead the annual benefits renewal process including RFP preparation, vendor management, plan design analysis, cost modeling, and implementation coordination across all jurisdictions by renewal deadlines\n\nDevelop coaching and training materials related to their area of expertise for both managers and HR team\n\nRequirements\nB.A. in Administration, Industrial Relations, Actuarial Science, Human Resources or other relevant training\n\n10+ years’ experience in global compensation\n\nExcellent knowledge of French and English (oral and written)\n\nDemonstrated experience with Workday, specifically Core HCM (compensation) and Advanced Compensation modules (configuration, reporting, and administration)\n\nAdvanced Excel skills including pivot tables, data validation, and complex formulas for compensation modeling and forecasting\n\nVery good interpersonal and communication skills\n\nEase in dealing with members of all levels of management in the organization and with external resources\n\nExperience presenting business cases and program results to senior leadership\n\nAbility to synthesize complex information and present it in clear, accessible terms adapted to diverse audiences, from employees to executive leadership\n\nProven ability to troubleshoot complex compensation issues independently\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet established deadlines for compensation cycles, benefits renewals, and reporting requirements\n\nBe trustworthy and act with integrity\n\nWork independently with minimal supervision once trained on processes\n\nNice to Haves:\nKnowledge of Spanish\n\nCPHR Member\n\nExperience in information technology industry\n\nExperience with international companies\n\nEquisoft is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
