Our Digital Productdepartment would like to welcome a detail-oriented\nContent Editor in our office in Amman, Jordan\nThe Content Editor is responsible for editing, improving and maintaining content on our Equiti websites. You will be working closely with our Content Manager and Copy and Design teams to achieve our business goals. Your duties will also include monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify best practices.\nYou should be able to contribute to all marketing content initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency and a positive customer experience.\nResponsibilities\nManage content projects from A to Z, from planning to delivery.\nCreate, upload and update content across multiple CMS platforms.\nEnsure content meets all quality control checks before publishing, and follows our style guidelines\nOrganise, modify and update existing content\nFollow basic UX/UI best practices to ensure a user-friendly website experience.\nCollaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure a user-friendly experience\nProofread and edit spelling, grammar and syntax\nLiaise with copy writers to ensure brand consistency\nEnsure compliance with law (e.g., copyright, legal and data protection)\nOptimize content according to SEO\nUse Google Analytics to analyse website traffic and users’ engagement metrics\nSkills & Competencies\nFamiliarity with social media, internet functionality and digital media technologies\nProfessional writing skills in English\nAttention to detail\nGood organisational and time-management skills\nExperience Requirements\nBSc degree in English Literature/Language, Journalism, Marketing or relevant field.\nBasic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing\nBasic knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics\nExperience with MS Office and Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress, Wagtail)\nPerks\nEach of our offices has its special perks; be it ‘no ties’, free lunches, charity events, or a hybrid work policy - but whenever you walk into an Equiti office, you’re sure to see a friendly face.
