Our Partnerships and Loyalty department would like to welcome a detail-oriented.\nLead Backend Developer - Loyalty in our office in Bangalore\nAs a Senior Software Developer you will be responsible for building APIs and backend systems that support algorithmic trading. You will work with a microservices architecture and GRPC, and be capable of working independently with minimal supervision. You will take complete ownership of the product's quality, delivering fully developed new features end-to-end in an Agile environment.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and deliver new product features according to the provided specifications and requirements \nActively participate in the system design and contribute new ideas and best ways of implementation \nSupport the product and fix bugs reported by users and QA team \nAdhere to the best development practices \nSelf-motivated and can work as part of a team as well as independently \nMentor and lead junior team members \nSkills & Competencies\nExcellent level of .NET / C# (LINQ, Generics, async, IoC container, dependency injection) \nStrong understanding OOP and SOLID principles \nStrong SQL skills in MSSQL/MYSQL/Oracle \nFamiliar with multi-threaded, high-performance applications \nFamiliarity with Agile development processes and sprint planning \nExcellent command of spoken and written English \nExperience Requirements\nPrevious experience in a FX/trading/financial company \nExperienced C# developer who is comfortable developing server side code \nMinimum 5 years of .NET exposure in a dynamic IT environment (preferably in Banking/Finance domain and ideally front office IT) \nExperience in building connected, service-oriented applications (GRPC/SOAP/REST) \nExperience in Messaging systems (Redie/Tibco/ActiveMq/ServiceBus) \nExperience of unit testing and mocking frameworks (XUnit/NUnit/SpecFlow/XBehave) \nExperience in Meta Trader 4/5 \nDevelopment in Azure / AWS cloud \nRedis or similar NoSQL database \nContinuous integration (Azure DevOps or similar) \nExperience working with Docker and Kubernetes. \nExperience in JIRA, DevOps or other bug tracking software \nExperience working in Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban \nPerks\nEach of our offices has its special perks; be it ‘no ties’, free lunches, charity events, or a hybrid work policy - but whenever you walk into an Equiti office, you’re sure to see a friendly face.
