You will collaborate with business analysts and technology teams to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions, improve processes, and ensure system functionality aligns with organizational needs.\nWe are looking for an analytical and collaborative professional who enjoys solving complex challenges, improving processes, and sharing knowledge to support team success.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nIndependently develop, implement, and maintain complex application configurations, scripts, and automations based on business requirements and technical specifications.\n\nPartner with Business Analysts and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.\n\nLead configuration updates and enhancements, including coding, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining documentation.\n\nCoordinate and execute testing activities to validate configurations, scripts, and automations against business requirements.\n\nEnsure adherence to established development, testing, documentation, and quality standards.\n\nEvaluate business processes, system changes, and new products to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.\n\nProvide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to less experienced Business Configuration Analysts.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional technology and business teams to support system enhancements and organizational initiatives.\n\nContribute to a positive, inclusive, and customer-focused work environment.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nEducation:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n\nAssociate's degree or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.\n\nExperience:\nExperience in business analysis, application configuration, scripting, automation, or related information technology roles.\n\nExperience translating business requirements into application configurations or technical solutions.\n\nExperience testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining configurations, scripts, or automated processes.\n\nExperience collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to support system enhancements and process improvements.\n\nExperience within insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries is a plus.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nStrong understanding of programming concepts, application configuration, scripting, and automation principles.\n\nAbility to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.\n\nExperience with software testing, validation, troubleshooting, and documentation practices.\n\nStrong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, organize work effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.\n\nStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.\n\nAbility to provide guidance and mentorship to team members while encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous learning.\n\nAdaptability and willingness to learn new technologies, business processes, and application systems.\n\nCommitment to accountability, continuous improvement, and fostering an inclusive team environment.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to work at a computer for extended periods, including frequent use of a keyboard and monitor.\n\nOccasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 20 pounds.\n\nAbility to communicate effectively in a professional work environment.\n\nWhere You’ll Work:\nLocation: West Des Moines, IA (Mostly Off-Site)\n\nTravel: Travel not likely or required.\n\nEquiTrust is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where employees feel respected, valued, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives.
