These duties include, but are not limited to, interviewing, training and scheduling Guest Services team members, taking and processing reservations, acting as first point of contact for team members and guests, providing customer service, housekeeping, light duty maintenance, and patrolling the resort as needed.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\nInterview, train, schedule and supervise Front Desk team member(s)\nGreets and registers incoming guests and potential guests and distributes information about the Resort.\nProcesses reservations and/or cancellations in reservations system which includes cash handling and credit card processing.\nRecords all transactions in the accounts receivable system and secures all monies collected.\nRuns end of day reports including reconciling the cash and credit card transactions. \nProvides detailed reservation information to General Manager, Assistant General Manager or Administrative Assistant as needed.\nMaintains front entrance and office appearance.\nPatrol the Resort to ensure resort rules and policies are being followed.\nAnswers telephone/radio calls and relays emergency messages to appropriate staff and members in a timely fashion.\nSecures facilities and amenities.\nKeeps open line of communication with Resort Manager/Assistant Manager regarding reservations, cancellations, guest arrivals/departures, and any guest concerns.\nMay take direction from Administrative Assistant in addition to Resort Manager and Assistant Manager.\nMay be responsible for receiving, sorting and distributing incoming guest mail/packages, as needed.\nGreets visitors and provides excellent customer service to members, guests, employees.\nResponds to guest inquiries and complaints in an appropriate manner, and escalates to the Resort Manager/Assistant Manager, when necessary.\nMay drive motorized vehicle on or off property for company business and responsible for keeping vehicles clean.\nMaintains confidentiality regarding sensitive company, personal member/guest, and employee information.\nResponds to incidents on property, take pictures, and statements, as needed.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nSKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE\nTo perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
