The focus of the role is to provide innovative solutions and solve problems to meet the client’s technical requirements working as a team. You will do this by supporting a team of business and senior business analysts. You will assist the team in providing solutions through the onboarding of the Equus Workforce Solutions which require ongoing technical configuration, troubleshooting, replication of application issues, testing of system upgrades, as well as keeping current on the most recent application enhancements.\nIf you're a recent graduate with a strong desire to learn, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to excellence, we encourage you to apply for this exciting entry-level Associate Business Analyst opportunity.\nThis position will be on a hybrid work set-up, with a minimum of 2 days/ week in the Plano office.\n**No sponsorships available.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nEffectively problem-solve issues to resolution, this will require the ability to partner with your team for additional support when needed.\nOrganize client technical information during client meetings by taking meeting minutes/notes, detailing exact technical specifications.\nPerform requirement analysis, configuration, testing and issue resolution.\nWhen requested, participate, or assist in the preparation of client webinars, conferences, demos, and other presentations to both clients and internal Equus team.\nDecipher technical client build document requirements by writing test plans and test cases for quality assurance and user acceptance, including conducting QA testing and reporting results.\nGain exposure to Equus products and client projects; both technical and functional, with hands-on assignments.\nDevelop strong working relationships with clients and internal teams.\nMay at times participate in a quarterly live chat rotation with other team members to provide exceptional service to our clients who are requesting online help.\nParticipate in team standups and meetings.\nParticipate in client working sessions.\nParticipate in other Equus internal initiatives.\nSeek out information about the global mobility industry and software industries and apply that knowledge to day-to-day activities.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline from an accredited college/university.\nAnalytical and conceptual thinking skills.\nEfficiently handle data-intensive and time-sensitive tasks.\nExcellent verbal and written communication, as well as organizational skills to effectively communicate and interact with all levels within the Equus organization.\nAbility to quickly understand our client needs and technical expectations both verbally and written.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines by demonstrated organizational and time management skills.\nStrong analytical and detail-oriented skills required.\nTeam player with a positive attitude required.\nDesired: Technical background with understanding and/or experience in software development and/or web technology.\nTECHNICAL SKILLS\nRequired: experience with multiple software and system-based applications; Microsoft Office applications.\nAdvanced excel knowledge, desired but not required.\nKnowledge and experience using Atlassian products: Confluence and Jira applications, desired but not required.\nLearned applications: Slack, ClickTime, Kantata, 15five.
