We accomplish this through an intense commitment to safety, quality service, excellence, and partnerships.\nAssists students in adjusting to Center life by providing supervision, behavior modification and acting as a mentor.\n\nEnsures students meet the required schedule, waking on time and arriving on time for training or work assignment.\n\nEnsures students are adequately prepared for the training day, e.g., dressed appropriately.\n\nProvides daily supervision or assistance in monitoring students in personal hygiene, room/chore assignments, and other activities.\n\nEnsures dorms are always clean and inspection ready.\n\nProvides informal counseling related to stress management, personal problems, etc., and provides insight into responsible behavior and attitudes.\n\nDocuments student records according to PRH, inputting all relevant student data.\n\nMaintains and ensures student rooms and bulletin boards are updated with student and center information per established standards.\n\nFacilitates groups in life skills including budgeting, renter's rights, completing a lease, completing chores, etc.\n\nFacilitates small group discussions on life skills, peer mediation, conflict resolution, etc.\n\nParticipates in ESPs for students in assigned dormitory.\n\nContacts family members for consent for pass system as required.\n\nFacilitates prompt and appropriate assistance to students in the event of injury, illness, emotional trauma, etc.\n\nMeets individually a minimum of once a month with students on assigned dorm, documenting the meeting.\n\nPerforms and documents regular perimeter checks of dorm and outside perimeter to ensure safety and security.\n\nFacilitates daily Morning Accountability Checks (MAC's).\n\nPerforms and documents regular perimeter checks of the dorm and outside perimeter to ensure safety and security, if safe to do so.\n\nConduct daily roll calls and accountability checks in the dorms.\n\nEnsures that all minors sign the minor accountability form to indicate their presence at the\n\ncenter.\n\nReports information for shift briefings.\n\nEnsures assigned dormitory and its outdoor area are maintained in good repair, cleanliness, and order.\n\nClearly communicates and consistently models appropriate CSS and employability skills.\n\nMaintains accountability of staff, students, and property.\n\nAdheres to safety practices in all areas of responsibility.\n\nFosters and sustains a conducive environment at the center, ensuring it remains free from harassment, intimidation, and disrespect, thereby ensuring a safe space for both staff and students to engage in work and learning.\n\nAttends all required staff training opportunities.\n\n High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).\n\nOne-year related experience preferred.\n\nExperience working with youth.\n\nA valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.\n\n All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nEquus Workforce Solutions is a leading provider of workforce development services in North America.
