We accomplish this through an intense commitment to safety, quality service, excellence, and partnerships.\n Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties in the Security Department, in compliance with\ngovernment, corporate, and management directives.\nEssential Functions\n1. Handles routine matters personally and routes non-routine business to appropriate staff, including\ncovering phones and taking messages.\n2. Maintains the monthly calendar of activities and appointments for the Security and Transportation\nDepartment.\n3. Maintains the correspondence control logs, receives incoming and outgoing mail, and\nprovides follow-up on dates for action items on behalf of the Security Manager and\nthe Security/Transportation Department.\n4. Prepares paperwork for boards and committee meetings; prepares and files agendas and minutes on behalf of\nthe Security/Transportation Department.\n5. Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties.\n6. Prepares special reports, maintains files and records, and compiles statistical data.\n7. Performs clerical duties, including data entry and typing.\n8. Maintains an appropriate stock of department supplies.\n9. Maintains a filing system for all program manuals, directives, DESI procedures, and other program\ndocuments.\n10. Responsible for submitting and filing monthly GSA Fleet and Transportation related reports.\n11. Works with GSA Field Coordinator on GSA Fleet to respond to associated concerns.\n12. Coordinate with the Fleet Drivers to ensure all vehicle maintenance is completed by the\nmandated schedules.\n13. Assist with Security gate access control.\n14. Answering the primary telephone number and handling these incoming calls by directing the\ncaller to another individual or answering the general questions received.\n15. Models, mentors, and monitors the positive normative culture of the center.\n16. Acts as a responsible custodian for assigned center property.\n17. Reports violations of unethical behavior.\n18. Suggests opportunities for continuous operational improvement and a reduction of waste.\n19. Identifies and reports on environmental health and safety concerns.\n20.
