You’ll work in a environment where your expertise will help shape a procurement function that is not only commercially strong but socially meaningful.\n The Employment Unit Supervisor leads a team of employment services professionals-including Business Services Consultants, TEMP staff, Child Support Liaisons, and online Workshop Facilitators-to coordinate workforce programs that connect W-2 families to employment and training opportunities. This role oversees work experience site development, direct hire placements, and job skills/vocational training initiatives to enhance participant employability and long-term success.\nSupervise employment services staff and ensure alignment with W-2 program goals and performance standards.\nCoordinate workforce development programs including TEMP, Transitional Jobs, and vocational training initiatives.\nOversee development and maintenance of work experience sites and employer partnerships.\nFacilitate direct hire placements and job readiness workshops to support participant employment outcomes.\nCollaborate with internal teams and external partners to expand access to employment and training resources.\nMonitor program performance, staff productivity, and participant outcomes.\nProvide coaching, training, and performance feedback to employment services staff.\nEnsure compliance with W-2 policies, workforce program regulations, and reporting requirements.\nSupport continuous improvement efforts and contribute to strategic planning for employment services.\n Required\nAssociate’s degree in Workforce Development, Human Services, or related field.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in employment services, workforce development, or program supervision.\nStrong leadership and team management skills.\nKnowledge of local labor market trends and employer engagement strategies.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and workforce tracking systems.\nPreferred\nBachelor’s degree in a related field.\nExperience with W-2, TEMP, or other employment-focused public assistance programs.\nFamiliarity with vocational training providers and job placement strategies.\nBilingual (Spanish or Hmong) a plus.\n Equus Workforce Solutions is a leading provider of workforce development services in North America.
