You'll be the person who makes these experiences feel like nothing that has existed before.\nYou'll work at the intersection of AI engineering and experience design, building the orchestration logic, prompt architectures, and experience frameworks that give our customers the power to create truly distinct, deeply personalized AI interactions on their devices.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild out the Experience layer of the Era Core platform - the system that defines how a device speaks, thinks, and responds based on curated voice, user context, conversation history, and real-time signals\nDesign and implement prompt architectures at scale - curation-specific system prompts, structured output schemas, and agent configurations that maintain distinct personalities\nBuild the memory and personalization pipeline. Our memory encoder extracts structured knowledge from conversations via a multi-stage pipeline. You'll work with this system to make every interaction feel like the device truly knows its user\nCreate the curation experience toolkit - the frameworks that let partners upload their own agents, define response styles, configure voice personas, and deploy custom agents without touching code\nDesign proactive experience systems. Devices that take initiative based on context - time, location, biometrics, cross-device signals, and conversation patterns\nBuild cross-device continuity. A user's context, memory, and active experience should flow seamlessly between their Era-powered devices\nPrototype new interaction modalities. As new input types emerge (gesture, EEG, haptics, ambient sensing), you'll explore what an AI experience built on them feels like\nWhat We're Looking For\nDeep experience building with LLMs in production - prompt engineering, agent frameworks, tool-calling, RAG systems, structured output generation\nStrong intuition for what makes AI interactions feel natural and delightful vs. robotic and generic\nExperience designing systems that are both highly configurable (for partners) and coherent (for end users)\nSolid software engineering fundamentals. You'll build production services in Python and TypeScript that handle real-time workloads at scale\nComfort with multimodal AI - voice, audio, text, vision, and more and the ability to think about how these combine into unified experiences\nNice to Have\nBackground in conversational AI, voice assistants, or agent-based systems at consumer scale\nExperience with personalization systems, recommendation engines, or user modeling\nHCI, interaction design, or cognitive science background\nExperience with real-time streaming AI (LiveKit, WebRTC, audio processing pipelines)\nFamiliarity with memory and retrieval systems - vector databases, embedding models, hybrid search\nSF or remote.
