You own the relationship between Era and all of them. You're part evangelist, part educator, part community architect, and part customer support - the person who makes building with Era feel like joining a movement (because it is).\nThis is a technical role that happens to be people-facing, and a community role that happens to be technical. You can write code and build a demo, and you can also throw an event, run a Discord, execute a beta program, and make a frustrated developer feel taken care of.\nThe role also grows with Era. In the first few months it's community and developer relations - building the audience, the ecosystem, and the developer experience from scratch. As Era-powered products reach mass production and ship to real customers, it expands into the nitty-gritty of customer support and customer experience: owning the front line when real people need help, turning support tickets into product insight, and building the systems and playbooks that keep a fast-growing customer base happy at scale.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn Era's developer and creator community end-to-end - grow it, energize it, and turn it into a movement\nCultivate the designer/artist community. 30+ creatives already made Era device enclosures; make that ecosystem thrive\nCreate developer-facing content - docs, tutorials, sample projects, and demos that make building on Era a genuine pleasure\nBe Era's technical voice in the wild - talks, workshops, hackathons, forums, Discord, and social\nBuild the on-ramp. Make it fast and delightful for a new developer or creator to go from zero to building on Era\nRun the feedback loop. Bring structured insights from the community back to product and engineering every week\nGrow into customer support and experience. As mass-production products ship, own the customer support front line - help channels, beta programs, troubleshooting, returns and escalations - and the operational playbooks that let it scale\nRepresent Era at events and across the developer, design, and creator communities\nWork with the storytelling and social leads to keep the narrative cohesive across channels\nWhat We're Looking For\nA track record building or growing a community from early stage\nTechnical enough to earn developers' trust - you can write code, build a demo, and speak credibly about APIs and platforms\nExperience in developer relations, community, or another technical-yet-people-facing role\nExceptional communicator - you can give a talk, write a tutorial, and DM a stuck developer in the same day\nGenuine warmth. You actually like people and want them to succeed\nStrong taste. Era sits at the intersection of tech, design, and fashion\nScrappy and self-directed. At seed stage you're the strategy and the execution\nReady to own the unglamorous parts. This role scales into hands-on customer support and CX as products ship, and you're the kind of person who's energized by keeping real users happy, not just growing an audience\nNice to Have\nExperience with AI/ML platforms, LLM applications, or agentic systems\nNetwork in the developer, design, maker, or creator/influencer communities\nExperience running events, hackathons, or ambassador/advocate programs\nContent creation skills - video, writing, live-streaming\nBackground at a platform, API, or developer-tools company\nExperience with customer support, community operations, or customer experience at a scaling consumer or hardware company\nYou at Era\nAmbient AI won't be built by one company alone - it'll be built by a community of passionate people. You get to gather those people, give them a reason to care, and make Era the place they want to build.
