Diesel Mechanic

Eram Talent is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of diesel-powered vehicles, heavy equipment, and machinery. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and operational efficiency of diesel engines and associated mechanical systems. The successful candidate will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance while adhering to company procedures, safety regulations, and client requirements. Candidates with prior Saudi Aramco project experience are required. The ideal candidate is locally available in Saudi Arabia and willing to work within the offered salary range.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, heavy equipment, and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel-powered vehicles and machinery.
• Inspect, repair, and replace engine components, fuel systems, cooling systems, and transmission components.
• Carry out engine overhauls and mechanical repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, service manuals, and mechanical drawings.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify faults and ensure equipment reliability.
• Test repaired equipment to verify proper operation and performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco safety standards, company procedures, and HSE regulations.
• Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Support emergency breakdown maintenance when required.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or ITI/Technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Diesel Mechanics, Automotive Technology, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic in industrial, construction, or heavy equipment environments.
• Saudi Aramco project experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, fuel systems, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and repair heavy equipment and diesel-powered machinery.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with HSE procedures and safe maintenance practices.
• Locally available in Saudi Arabia.
