IT Support Assistant - Graphic Design Background

Eram Talent is seeking a creative and technically skilled IT Support Assistant - Graphic Design Background to provide IT support services while delivering high-quality graphic design solutions for digital and print media. Reporting to the IT Supervisor/Operations Manager, the role supports the maintenance of IT systems, software, and documentation while creating visually engaging content that enhances internal and external communications. The successful candidate will assist with troubleshooting IT issues, maintaining data backups, preparing system documentation, and designing creative assets including presentations, brochures, social media graphics, advertisements, and other digital content. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT support with a strong background in graphic design.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, and system-related issues.
• Assist in maintaining computer programs, applications, system documentation, and operational procedures.
• Design creative layouts using typography, color, imagery, and branding guidelines.
• Produce high-quality visual assets for print and digital platforms, including brochures, presentations, banners, social media graphics, advertisements, and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions.
• Support website and digital content updates when required.
• Troubleshoot minor computer hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Maintain data backups and support portal administration activities.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for management review.
• Assist senior IT personnel with software configuration, system maintenance, and technical support activities.
• Handle service requests, trouble reports, and documentation with minimal supervision.
• Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies, security procedures, and branding standards.
• Perform other related IT and creative support duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT support with a strong graphic design background.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other graphic design tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint for presentation design.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, troubleshooting, and system support.
• Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) and digital media is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of branding, typography, layout design, and visual communication.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting engineering, technical, or corporate environments is preferred.
