We are currently seeking a highly experienced and strategic Learning & Development professional to drive organizational excellence through innovative training solutions. The Senior Learning & Development Manager is responsible for efficiently managing activities related to the design and execution of comprehensive training programs for the client. By developing a best-in-class training catalogue and analyzing key factors prior to designing in-house courses, this leader will ensure that all training workshops are conducted efficiently. The ultimate objective is to continuously develop and enhance employees’ knowledge, skills, and competencies required to achieve the strategic business objectives of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Governance

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the department’s short to mid-term strategic plans to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and corporate goals.
  • Assist in the development of annual business plans for assigned areas of responsibility to support the achievement of financial and strategic objectives.
  • Monitor, control, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the department to track performance and recommend corrective actions.

Operational

  • Benchmark available training courses and best market practices to develop a comprehensive, state-of-the-art training catalogue.
  • Coordinate with the supervising Training Coordinator to design in-house training courses and materials based on critical factors such as course objectives, methodology, and agenda.
  • Develop and communicate regular reports on training performance, effectiveness, and quality to measure the ROI and efficiency of training programs.
  • Oversee all e-learning processes and report on e-learning performance, effectiveness, and quality directly to the Talent Management Director.
  • Analyze collected data and participant feedback to propose data-driven improvements to training effectiveness.
  • Evaluate training courses on a regular basis and provide continuous recommendations for curriculum enhancement.
  • Ensure the seamless implementation of recommended improvements by regularly following up with concerned stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with the Technology function to develop specialized technical training programs.

Policies, Systems & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices to increase overall productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Implement all relevant departmental policies, processes, procedures, and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a highly controlled, consistent, and compliant manner.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or an equivalent discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
  • Experience: Minimum of 11 years of proven experience in Learning & Development, Training, or a related field, out of which at least 5 years must be in a managerial or leadership position.
  • Certifications: Professional HR/L&D certifications (CIPD or SHRM) are highly preferred.
  • Language Skills: Demonstrated professional proficiency in both oral and written English.
