Mechanical Technician - Rotation & Static Equipments

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to support mechanical maintenance activities within a petrochemical environment.

Position Overview

The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for supporting Mechanical Engineers and carrying out technical maintenance activities on rotating and static equipment, ensuring equipment and mechanical operations are maintained to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Mechanical Engineers in the design and maintenance of machinery, products, and equipment.
• Inspect mechanical equipment and operating systems and carry out necessary corrections and adjustments.
• Support maintenance activities for rotating and static equipment.
• Ensure mechanical operations, standards, and controls are maintained at a high level of quality.
• Provide technical support and guidance to lower-level technicians.
• Identify and report mechanical equipment issues and support corrective maintenance activities.
• Work closely with Mechanical Engineers and maintenance teams to ensure reliable equipment operation.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical discipline.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Strong hands-on experience maintaining rotating and static equipment.

Experience in the petrochemical industry is required.

Good technical knowledge of mechanical maintenance and equipment.

Ability to provide technical support to junior/lower-level technicians.

Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills.
